High Horse is based in Boston, collecting the skills and artistry learned from their education at the Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory.
Their debut album was released in 2024, produced by world-renowned mandolinist Jacob Jolliff and engineered by sound wizard Dave Sinko.
“High Horse put on a tremendous afternoon of music! I was amazed at the Celtic music influence. High Horse truly took us to unknown places! So good. What a great group! Looking forward to seeing where they go next!” — Michael Burns, Westchester Bluegrass Club Proprietor
“I can’t find words to say how fabulous your performance was. Sometimes music overwhelms me, and last night was one of those times – this is when I cry because I’m in the presence of something very special. The blend of instruments was perfect, and the talent you all possess is off the charts. Your music is fresh and original, and carried me to a different place. What a show!” — Joni Lohr
“It’s been an honor to work with the incredible new ensemble, High Horse, the last few months. They’ve written and selected a beautiful array of tunes and songs that demonstrate their group versatility, while still conveying a strong and unique musical identity. Each member is a virtuoso as well as a great team player. I predict music fans will be hearing from this genre bending group for many years to come—I highly recommend checking out this record!”. — Jacob Jolliff – World-renowned Mandolinist / High Horse Album Producer
